Q: How did you decide on the different categories for the AsianMall.com Health & Wellness Center?
A: Because we want to be as comprehensive as possible, management decided to all categories that could show the various aspects of Alternative Therapy. Therefore we came up with popular categories such as Traditional Chinese Medicine, but also made sure to include more niche categories like Kampo.

Q: How do I get my site featured on AsianMall.com?
A: This is a two-part question: If you are a merchant looking to advertise your products with us, go to the Media Kit to learn about all our advertising and listing rates. However, if you feel that your site has content that can be beneficial to AsianMall.com, we are always looking for quality partners to provide fresh content for all our viewers. Email us with the URL of your site, along with a short paragraph why you think we can make good partners. Also, let us know if you think another site should be either listed with us or has content we could use.

Q: What is the staff like at AsianMall.com?
A: When we aren't at each other's throats over deadlines, marketing strategies, or content development, it's pretty calm here at the office. We all get along well, with the exception of Simon, who we keep locked in the basement, handling all our administrative matters. It is a fun and casual work environment here, as long as everyone knohwc what is expected of him or her at the office.

Q: Where are you guys located?
A: We are lucky to be located in Sunny California. More specifically, we are situated in the Silicon Valley region in Northern California, home of many online startups and computer companies.

Q: Can I visit you guys sometime, because I also live in California!
A: Unless a staff member personally invites you or you come bearing gifts (pizza is usually a sure thing), we can only allow you to stare through the window at our office while we go about our daily routine. Even then, we'd be forced to call the police if you stay there for more than 10 minutes.

Q: Can you tell me what does the symbol in the Asianmall.com logo mean?
A: The circle that accompanies our AsianMall.com logo is inspired from the ancient Japanese coins used in Japan a long time ago. We took the basic shape of the coin and added our own visual flair to come up with the final design that graces our site today.

Q: Can I call you guys if I have any questions?
A: Because our staff is often swamped with loads of work, we do have time to answer much phone calls. However, we provide many alternative ways for you to reach us via email. If you have general inquiries regarding AsianMall.com, go to the Contact Us page to send us your feedback. But if you are looking for an interactive platform to contact our staff, visit the Angry Asian, where one of our esteemed staff writers gives his viehwc on the Asian community and answers all your questions, no matter how crazy they are.

Q: In your logo, how come the coin appears at the right side of the words "AsianMall"?
A: Believe me, we also think this is a weird question, but as surprising as it seems, there are people who have been asking us this question, so we feel compelled to provide an answer. Our reply is this - it's because we want to be different. AsianMall.com thinks "outside the box". If you are not satisfied with our answer, it's your fault for asking such a weird question.

Q: What's it like working in an Internet Startup?
A: What do you mean? The pay? The hours? The work environment? To sum up our feelings with regard to those questions respectively, it's "okay, long, and casual". Sure, the pay can be pretty good, provided you are willing to put more than 100% effort into your work. Often times, working in a Startup is like being part of another family. How well you do directly affects the success ratio of the site. Unlike working in a retail store like Macy's, one bad day will not ruin the company, but one terrible day at a Startup can mean the difference between life and death. Well, maybe not that dramatic, but you get my point.

Q: What do you feel about the E-Commerce industry as we head into another new year?
A: It better still be around, or else we'll all be out of a job.
