Copyright and DMCA notices
AsianMall respects the rights of creators and business owners. We respond to notices of alleged copyright infringement under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA). We may remove or disable access to material and close the accounts of repeat infringers.
Report an infringement
Use the report form and choose "Copyright infringement (DMCA)", email hello@asianmall.com, or write to Gerald Looi, AsianMall, 1875 Mission St Ste 103 #688, San Francisco, CA 94103. A notice needs all of the following:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- The copyrighted work you say was infringed.
- The material you say infringes, with enough detail to find it, such as the page address.
- Your name, mailing address, phone number and email.
- A statement that you believe in good faith that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent or the law.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the notice is accurate and that you are the owner or are authorized to act for the owner.
Knowingly misrepresenting that material is infringing can create legal liability.
What happens next
When a notice is complete, we may remove or disable the material, tell the person who posted it, and keep a record of the action.
If your content was removed
If you believe your content was removed by mistake, send a counter-notice to the same address. It needs your signature, a description of the removed material and where it appeared, a statement under penalty of perjury that you believe in good faith it was removed by mistake or misidentification, your name, address and phone number, your consent to the federal court for your district, and a statement that you will accept service of process from the person who sent the original notice. We may restore the material in 10 to 14 business days unless the sender tells us they have filed a court action.
