Where our data comes from

AsianMall is built in part on open data. We credit our sources here and honor their licenses.

Business data

A large share of the businesses in our directory is derived from OpenStreetMap and from Overture Maps (which itself incorporates OpenStreetMap). Both are made available under the Open Database License (ODbL) v1.0.

How it’s licensed

The pages on this site are a Produced Work under the ODbL: we present the data for people to read and use, with the attribution above. The individual facts (names, addresses, phone numbers, websites, hours) are available under the Database Contents License (DbCL) v1.0. Our own additions — editorial descriptions, curation, categories, reviews, and photos — are not part of the open dataset and remain covered by our Terms.

Requesting the open data

In keeping with the ODbL’s share-alike terms, we make the OpenStreetMap- and Overture-derived records held in our catalog available under the ODbL on request. If you’d like a copy, email hello@asianmall.com and we’ll provide the open-data export.

Corrections

Data can be out of date. If a listing is wrong — or the underlying OpenStreetMap record is — you can help fix it at the source by editing OpenStreetMap, or tell us at hello@asianmall.com and we’ll take a look.
